I visited ‘The Future of Food’ this past Thursday night. Campbell’s Future of Food Dinner was a remarkable experience combining good food, Futurists and future female leadership.
Imagine what the ‘future of food’ looks like to a staple like Campbell’s… A food brand at the epicenter of warm winter nights with their infamous chicken soup, at the bottom of pans to spread over that favorite cream of chicken dish your Mom makes, or even thrown into that tote bag for a long night. They have new disposable packs perfect for us entrepreneurs! Campbell’s has stopped a growling tummy for me many a night.
More than just food however is a conscious brand looking to stop the ‘bad’: that mythically exists in canned food. I’m also a huge fan of Campbell’s Denise Morrison. She’s one of very few women CEOs, believes in incubating and actually investing in small businesses, and is rumored to be a pretty good Fire Baton Twirler.
