New Client Alert: Newark CEDC’s Newark Shoppes Community Storefront Initiative
We are always so happy to work with new clients, but those that affect our community and share our passion for small businesses are our most prized.
In 2015, the Newark Community Economic Development Corporation (Newark CEDC) launched its first community storefront, Newark Shoppes, as part of Mayor Ras J. Baraka’s vision to empower and provide Newark residents the opportunity to start their own business and spur economic development activities throughout the City’s all five wards.
Since then, the Newark CEDC has opened five shared retail storefronts that removes the barriers for provide Newark entrepreneurs low-cost space, business services, training, professional-field specific mentors, and networking opportunities. Newark Shoppes Community Storefront Initiative provides approximately 10 workspaces in each storefront.
Usable Tech Co was tapped to provide the complete brand identity for the Newark Shoppes Initiative. The logo (as shown above) and a comprehensive branding kit will help shape the program’s clean, modern and professional brand ideals.
